We can also make the covers out of any of the fabrics shown as options for the Sleep Tight™ Weighted Blanket as a special order. The Sit Tight™ is machine washable however some individuals may prefer to have a cover to minimize the frequency that the whole product will need to be washed. $20.00 |
Sommerfly's Sit Tight™ Lap Pad provides deep touch to the skin which is an effective tool to help your child stay in their seat and focus on their work whether it is circle time, home/school work or mealtimes.
We have found Sommerfly's Sit Tight™ Lap Pad to be especially effective in helping children stay in their seat and focus during meal time as well as during sit and listen times. Part of Sommerfly's innovative Patent Pending Sit Tight™ lap pad design is the strap that fastens around the waist to help ensure it will stay put while a child is seated. The strap is closed by a buckle and the size of the strap is adjustable. No more picking lap pads up off the floor!
The Sit Tight™ can be used along with the Wrap Arounds™ alternative to a weighted vest when a child needs higher intensity weighted input to help them stay in one place and focus.
The Sit Tight™ may also be carried across the room when a break is needed. People who need to move a lot can benefit from breaks that involve movement and heavy work for the muscles. The Sit Tight™ Lap Pad provides a little extra weight when a child takes a walking break. This can help improve their focus when they return to sit and work.
A benefit of using soft and durable corduroy is that this helps keep The Sit Tight™ lap pad in one place. Children and adults love the softness of the corduroy and may run their hands across the corduroy ridges, which can further help to improve focus. While the Sit Tight™ Lap Pad is fully washable we do also offer covers.

Materials: Sommerfly's Sit Tight™ Lap Pad is made with soft 100% cotton corduroy and filled with a non-toxic and hypoallergenic PET pellet material which is BPA and phthalate free. You will quickly notice the high quality materials and workmanship.
Washing/Drying Instructions: You may machine wash your Sit Tight™ Lap Pad and you may dry them in the dryer on low heat or on a drying rack.
